Spheroid

A spheroid is an aggregate in which cells are aggregated and aggregated, and a living body-like structure is reconstructed inside the spheroid, and it is known that high-functional expression can be maintained for a long time as compared with a monolayer culture method. We are working on joint research on cell-cell interactions in bone and cartilage metabolism using spheroids using a device developed by Nakazawa Laboratory at Kitakyushu City University. Spheroids are expected to be useful as a tool for regenerative medicine, and aim to produce spheroids that are optimal for bone defects.
